The World Bank Islamabad office intends to hire an Islamabad-based Disaster Risk Management Specialist.


The aim is to strengthen its capacity in the areas of disaster preparedness and post disaster response through recovery and reconstruction support operations.


The successful candidate should have an advanced university degree in the social sciences or in engineering

Should be with a minimum of five years experience in post disaster response operations and post disaster needs assessments in Pakistan

Similar experience in another South Asian country would be a plus
