Job Description:
The First Microfinance Bank Ltd. (FMFB), is a leading non-commercial Microfinance Bank, regulated by the State Bank of Pakistan. As part of the Aga Khan Development Network, FMFB was created with the mission to alleviate poverty through sustainable economic development.
The Bank offers a wide range of credit, saving and insurance products along with a low-cost funds transfer service to its target population through a vast network of 86 branches and 68 Pakistan Post Sub Offices.
The Bank is currently looking for qualified candidates for the following positions:
Group Head – Business
Location:
Head Office, Islamabad
Education:
MBA or Masters in Commerce/Economics from a reputable local or foreign university
Experience:
10+ years of (Post qualification) experience in retail banking and managing a bank with a mid to large sized branch network at a senior level.
Age: Maximum 45 years
Position overview:
•Group Head Business would be responsible for managing a large branch network of 154 units
•Would have the overall responsibility of managing the core business of microfinance (loan disbursement, loan recovery, credit management, deposit mobilization and customer services)
•Would be responsible for product development
•Should be well versed with Banking Operations, and SME / Microfinance credit.
•Will maintain key focus on people development to achieve maximum quality output
•Must have strong leadership and excellent communications skills
•Will be required to travel to service areas (including villages) covering all 4 provinces of Pakistan including AJK and Gilgit/Baltisitan
