GBA Services, based in Karachi, is an entrepreneurial company primarily dealing with Banks and Life Insurance companies. We offer our clients “third party management solutions” to simplify their often intricate and cumbersome life insurance operations. We are able to do this through our state-of-the-art bespoke web based systems that seamlessly amalgamate point-of-sale, integrated underwriting and back office processes.
Between them, the senior management at GBA bring to the table a breadth of industry knowledge, business know-how and leadership skills with more than 50 years experience of working at Executive Management level for top-tier multinational financial cooperation in Europe, the Middle East and South Asia. We are looking for energetic, highly motivated, hardworking and passionate individuals to the fill the following positions.
Head of Bancassurance
This senior position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The post requires a seasoned professional with substantial experience of hands-on sales and business development (minimum 10 years) gained within blue-chip environments. This is a challenging and demanding assignment, which would require the selected candidate’s full commitment. Your initial responsibility will be to prepare a detailed business plan highlighting the proposed strategy to win the Bancassurance business of banks. Your main focus will be to identify bancassurance partners, develop strategic partnerships and form synergies. You will be a confident, self-driven, ambitious, assertive, diplomatic and resilient individual with a track record of success within business development. Other than being a team player, you will have strong PR, a good network of relevant contacts and be a competent man0manager. Needless to say, you will possess strong communication and leadership skills along with a flair to motivate a team of Relationship Manager/Officers to achieve their revenue targets. Previous experience within Financial Services, Banking or Life Assurance industries will be a huge plus. Academically, you will have a Master’s degree, preferably an MBA.
