Job Description:
MIS Analyst – Budgeting & Cost Control – Ref.: T6/9469 – A leading DUBAI-based local bank is seeking to hire an MIS Analyst for Budgeting and Cost Control to join their Financial Control Department.

The primary objectives of the role are to generate MIS reports and conduct business analytics for Senior Management, which includes analytical write-ups on business volumes, growth and trends, areas of penetration, new customer acquisitions, measures of productivity and business enablers.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be involved in budgeting at product/branch/department level, conducting variance analysis at different levels, assisting in cost allocation and funds transfer pricing application, identifying areas of cost rationalization and implementing cost reduction measures.

In addition, you will conduct comparative analysis with competitors and leading players in the market, consolidate the bank’s profit and loss a/c, balance sheet and estimate profitability, cash flow and ratio analysis.

To qualify, you should be a Finance Graduate with a minimum of 5 years experience in budgeting and MIS reporting, of which 2 years should have been in the banking industry.

Their innovation outshines their rivals, the list of products and services they have introduced to their markets is extensive and they continue to develop plans for the future, which will extend their lead in many areas. They remain market leaders in the provision of ‘web’ based services and access and will continue to improve these, whilst maintaining the security so critical to this service. They are currently looking for a Branch Manager (Country Manager) for one of their offices in Dubai. The Branch Manager is primarily responsible for developing new business. They will oversee all sales, internal service and operational activities and will be responsible for the maintenance of the branch’s physical facility and performance of all branch staff. The Branch Manager will also be primarily accountable for planning (internal and external business development action plans), retail sales, commercial sales, customer service, branch operations and administration. To be considered for this position, you will be degree educated and have 8 to 10 years related banking experience with around 3 years in a similar position as a Branch Manager of a major branch. You must be familiar with local laws and regulations and have excellent English and Arabic communication skills, both written and oral. Extremely well-developed customer service, marketing and management skills are critical together with a level of computer skills commensurate with this position.
